We had to try the Dalgona coffee trend with our coffee bean infused maple syrup!
If you haven't heard of Dalgona coffee it's a whipped, frothy iced coffee drink made with instant coffee, sugar, water, and milk. Also known as "whipped coffee", "frothy coffee", or "fluffy coffee", dalgona coffee has two distinct layers made from whipped coffee cream sitting on top of iced milk.
We made our version iced.
2 TBSP instant coffee of espresso
2 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP hot water
6 oz milk of choice
2 TBSP Slate Valley Farms Coffee infused maple syrup
In a small bowl, add instant coffee, water and sugar. Using a hand mixer, beat until fluffy and has firm peaks, about 5 minutes.
Prepare a glass with ice and pour milk over ice. Add maple syrup over ice then spoon whipped coffee on top. If desired, stir to combine.
