A Slate Valley Farms spin on a beloved treat using our raw wildflower honey!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange cereal on a baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cereal is slightly brown and toasted. Set aside and let cool.
Line a 9 inch by 9-inch pan with parchment paper and grease with butter or baking spray.
Grease a large mixing bowl with butter or baking spray and pour in the cereal.
Begin melting the butter in a medium saucepan set over low heat. Add in honey and tahini, stirring just until combined, about 2 minutes. Stir in the marshmallows and continue to melt over low heat, stirring often, until about 75% of the marshmallows have melted.
Remove the mixture from the heat pour over the cereal until evenly coated. Spread the mixture into the buttered pan and firmly press into an even layer. While still warm, top with sesame seeds and a drizzle of tahini, if desired.
Let the cereal treats cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into 9 squares.
