We just finished harvesting honey for the summer so for now we have plenty of bee pollen for smoothie bowls! Here's a fun recipe that also uses our all natural cocoa bean infused maple syrup.
1/2c frozen cauliflower
1c milk of choice
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1 TBSP Xantham Gum
2 TBSP Slate Valley Farms Cocoa Bean Infused Maple Syrup
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour until serving bowl. Add toppings of choice, shown here with banana, cocoa nibs, bee pollen and granola.
Please keep in mind if you are new to using bee pollen in your diet, you will want to start out with a very small amount and gradually introduce more into your recipes to allow your body to get used to the pollen in your system.
